Arrival from your home so you safelly are at Split harbour by very latest 16:30 to catch the 17:00 ferry to Vis. We’ll try to arrange so we can split taxis depending on arrivals at the airport. Arriving Vis island at 19:20 followed by a 10 min walk to our hotel. Dinner somewhere in the city of Vis.
Hotel just north of the town of Vis.

09/05
Full day exploring Vis island on Quad bikes. Two per bike, at least four-five (+ me) needs to be confortable driving and have a legit drivers licence for cars. We’ll have a guide that will show as much of the military history on the island as we can cope with on a min 5h trip. Including costal battery, missile battery, command structures, old castle, boat tunnel, 2WW airfield and wine cellars.
Same hotel as the night before.

10/05
Early start with boarding the ferry back to Split at 07:15 for a 07:30 departure. Breakfast before at the hotel.
Back in Split we’ll pick up rental cars in downtown Split, followed by a approx. 2h drive south towards the Bosnian border. Here we’ll visit a cluster of three boat tunnels from the Cold War era. After exploring here for a couple of hours we have a 2h transport to Mostar in Bosnia. Border control as we are leaving Schengen/EU.

Main visit today is half-way to Sarajevo, Tito’s Cold War headquarter bunker close to the town of Konjic. A special guided tour in slower pace than usual.
Depending on the start time in Konjic we’ll explore the abandoned mountain hangar in Mostar before or after the trip to Konjic. We will also have time to explore an abandoned air-strip and regiment in the center of town as well as the big cross overlooking the city.
Back to Mostar in the afternoon. As for now we have a different hotel in the old city of Mostar. Dinner in town.

12/05
